UK Delivery

How much does delivery cost?

The delivery price is based both on the size of the product(s) selected and your delivery location. To see the options available simply add the product(s) to your cart and View Cart. From there you will be able to enter your postcode for a full list of delivery options and prices available to you.

Which couriers do you use to deliver my order?

For small items weighing under 2kg (things like shoes or shirts), we generally use Parcelink (inc Yodel) .

For medium sized items, generally up to around 30kg (this includes golf sets, cricket bats, lighter fitness equipment), we normally use DX Express or Parcelink (inc Yodel).

For large or heavy items, we use DX Freight.

What is the cut-off time for next day delivery?

As long as we have received payment by 1pm, we will be able to dispatch your order that day (Monday to Friday - excluding bank holidays). Please note, if there are extra fraud checks or we don't have confirmation of payment by 1pm, we won't be able to dispatch that day.

How long does delivery take?

On the standard 3-5 working day service, over 95% of orders are delivered within 2 working days. However, we allow a couple of extra days to reach more remote areas.

Next working day delivery will arrive the following working day for almost all areas of the UK - there are some exceptions for those living in Northern Ireland and the more remote parts of Scotland.

Saturday delivery will arrive on the 1st Saturday after the day of order. If ordering on the Friday payment for orders will need to have been received by 1pm. This service is available for most areas of the Mainland UK - there are some exceptions i.e for those living in Northern Ireland and the more remote parts of Scotland and Offshore islands.

European Delivery

Which couriers do you use to deliver my order?

For small items under 2kg, we use your local Post Office.

For medium sized items (generally up to around 30kg), we use Parcelforce (GLS) or TNT.

For large or heavy items, we use TNT.

How long does delivery take?

You should allow between 3 to 7 working days for delivery. In many cases, especially to major metropoliation areas, you will receive your order even sooner than that.

Reward Points

Our Reward Point Scheme is not only a way for us to say thank you for your custom but also a great way for you to make extra savings on your future purchases of a large range of Products from Our Websites. 

How Does It Work? 

You’ll earn one reward point for every whole pound you spend at The Sports HQ. This is calculated on an item-by-item basis, and you are able to see how many reward points you’ll earn for every item. For example, a £10.99 item earns you 10 reward points. Reward points are not earned on delivery charges.

The points generated must be used on a subsequent order. In order to obtain the discount, you are required to login into your account. Awarded points will only appear in your account once the qualifying order is fully completed and shipped.

Reward points have an expiration date of ninety days after generation, after this period the reward points are removed. Please note that for an order to process through our system a minimum spend of £0.01 is required. If the number of points applied results in a £0.00 balance please adjust your applied points to ensure the transaction can proceed.

Reward points cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions, discounts or vouchers, neither can they be transferred, gifted or sold to any other parties.

The Sports HQ reserves the right to change the redemption value or even remove the reward policy scheme with immediate effect, and without notice. Reward points have no cash value. The Sports HQ reserves the right to add any additional Conditions. In the event of a dispute, The Sports HQ shall make the final decision.

If you are an existing customer placing a new order, or trying to redeem your existing reward points, make sure you log in to your account first. You can do that here.


Can I return an item to you for a refund?

Yes. Provided you have notified us within 14 days of receiving your Product(s) you can return any item to us for a full refund within 14 days of that notification.

Please note, the item must be brand new, and wherever possible in its original packaging. Please note that if the item arrives back to us damaged due to insufficient packaging, we will not be able to issue a full refund.

You will need to pay the postage to return the item back to us. Alternatively, we offer a number of services to make this easier for you - a Collect+ return which allows you to drop the item off at a nearby convenience store (only for small-medium sized items) and a full home collection (ideal for bigger items). Both of these are charged services, ranging from £5-£30 as a guide (though there may be exceptions).

Once we've received the item back, we'll inspect it as soon as possible, and then where applicable issue your refund. We aim to have this done within 3 working days of receipt, but please bear in mind sometimes, the payment provider may take longer to actually give you your money back.

Can I return an item to you for an exchange?

Absolutely. Please contact us in advance rather than just sending it back, so we know what to expect and what to do with it.

You'll need to pay for the postage back to us (or arrange a Collect+ or home collection - see above section for more info).

Once back, we'll send the item you wish to exchange to without any further charges to you.

Can I return custom fit/personalised products?

Unfortunately, we cannot accept any returns on custom fit or personalised items.

What warranties are there on your products?

Unless otherwise stated on the product details page, all our new products come with a 12 month warranty.

This covers faulty craftsmanship, but does not cover neglect or misuse of the product.

We will repair or replace the product as we see fit, and we will cover all costs associated with this.

How do I make a warranty claim?

Discount Codes and Coupons

Do you have any discount codes running?

From time to time, we run discount codes for our sites. The best way to find out about these and make sure you get the biggest discounts is to sign up to our email newsletter.

What are the terms of the discount code?

Unless stated otherwise, the discount code is only eligible to the price you pay for the product and excludes delivery costs.

How do I claim the code?

On the basket page, you'll find a Coupon Code box, right underneath where your products are listed. Please enter it there and click 'Redeem'.
