I bought this sleeping bag just for things like youth hostels and bunking at friends' houses, so nothing outdoor or needing extra-toasty.
It worked just great. Lightweight yet warm. Just be sure to zip up all the way, or when you turn over with your back to the zip, you'll get a bit draughty!
My daughter has taken to using it on her bed all the time because it's a more cuddly feel than her duvet.
Just watch that you can wash it in a machine, but shouldn't tumble dry. I think the fibres are way to nylon-y or something for any heat.
