Golf News | Grand China Air Support LPGA in Asia

In the latest of the LPGA’s endorsement deals, they have entered into a contact with Grand China Air for sponsorship of the tournaments debut in China.

As the popularity of golf develops in Asia, LPGA have followed its male counterpart and organised a tournament in its heartland. The Haikou West Golf Club in Haikou City will be the venue for the Grand China Air LPGA is scheduled for Oct. 24-26.

The Haikou City serves as one stop on the tournaments Asian course. The 63-player filed event carries a $1.8 million price tag as the opener to the showcase of the top 51 world class rated players. Outside of those who earned their place by their placement on last years money list, the field is to comprise of player who are selected by a board of Grand China Air, the Chinese Golf Association, and IMG (the marketing and management firm).
