An infringement case has been drawn up between a
Texas based golf
equipment company against TaylorMade Golf. It is alleged that
TaylorMade has infringed on two patents that cover technology allowing
the golf player to adjust the golf club head’s centre of gravity,
up to three dimensions to produce customised golf ball
trajectories, varying from high to low fades, draws and straight shots.
The club head has a more customised and forgiving playing
characteristics.
The suit is reporting that TaylorMade products that
infringe upon Dogleg include the following golf clubs: SuperQuad
driver, TaylorMade r7 quad driver, TaylorMade r7 425 quad driver and
TaylorMade r7 CGB Max driver
and fairway
woods.
In response to the suit, a spokesman from TaylorMade
commented: “there has been no prior contact from the company
prior to receiving the official complaint. We’re currently
reviewing it and will respond appropriately at correct time and place.
