Golf News - Buick Open Secures Woods Attendance

Tiger Woods has confirmed his intentions to play in the Buick Open. Woods has also released further information regarding his project to host a golf clinic on June 24th. This workshop is to be held at Comerica Park in Detroit only two days before the Buick Open tournament starts.

The marketing manager for Buick Golf, Larry Peck, made the statement on tournament and Woods behalf regarding his significant participation during a news conference that was called on Monday. Anticipation has grown around Woods’ attending as it was in doubt since he was taken out of play by knee surgery. Woods underwent the operation only two days after he failed to claim the coveted grand slam in the Masters the industry have not been expecting to return to competition until the U.S. Open in mid-June.
