Golf News | Boeing to continue sponsorship of Classic until 2012

The title sponsor the Champions Tour’s, Boeing, has extended its deal to Washington through to 2012.The significant golf tournament, the Boeing Classic of 2008 will be held in August at the TPC at Snoqualmie Ridge in Snoqualmie, Wash. Last year’s tournament was won by Denis Watson in a seven-man playoff for him to claim his second Champions Tour title.

The Champions Tour’s Ginn Championship at Hammock Beach will be sponsored by another manufacturer of aircrafts, Cirrus. Cirrus will have the opportunity to showcase a selection of its planes on the golf course during the tournament. The Ginn Championship is due to take place between March 28 and 30 at the Ocean Hammock Golf Club.
