Tour Edge’s latest release of their new range
of golf clubs
is set to blow away the competition and consumers alike with its
advanced technology and unrivalled quality. Included in its golf club line
up is the Tour Edge XCG Driver - composed of a
3-piece construction, it features a new titanium cup face
technology and the latest magnesium crown technology.
This new technology allows the new golf clubs to be
over 200% lighter compared to titanium headed clubs from a similar
model. The material is a soft responsive metal alloy, resulting in a
solid feel and produces a pure sound which provides superb feedback at
impact. The lightweight material remains durable which has allowed the
developers to experiment with weight distribution. This in turn
provides more power at impact from a lower position delivering an
explosive launch from the driver. The
heavier steel body positions more weight -low and back in the head,
which increases the Driver’s ‘moment-of-inertia’,
allowing the golfer to achieve a flying shot with less spin.
Previously released golf clubs
fitted with the titanium cupped face technology had yielded the company
respect in the US market. They hope to emulate the popularity of its
past golf clubs, with its new drivers -
offering the same faster ball speeds off the club face and long-flying
drives. The cup face is thinner around the perimeter and thicker in the
centre. This makes for an improved forgiveness on the club face. The
lightweight cup face works with the weighting of the heavy steel body
and in turn lowers the spin rate and creates a higher launch angle.
The manufacturer sees its latest offering for
those golfers in search of a long distance carry with a high ball
flight. A flatter trajectory is expected from the new golf club.
