Watch them as much as you can and be sure to pick up any tips they offer.

Invest in the right equipment

If you are going to play the best golf you can, then you need to use the right equipment. Make sure you invest in a set of quality golf clubs. There comes a point when you’ll need to put aside your beginner’s set and pay a little more money for golf clubs that are going to improve your game. You should also probably think about custom-fitting, as this ensures that your golf clubs are individually tailored to you. Practise, practise, practise

As with anything that you are trying to get better at, there is no substitute for practice. Take every opportunity you can to get out on the golf course and swing those clubs. Think about all the tips you’ve picked up from watching the professionals and pay particular attention to your backswing and your downswing. Get out on the driving range, too, after work and at the weekend. You have to put the hours in if you mean business; there is no getting away from this.
