Golf Clubs – Alpha – New ruling sees latest customisation features on drivers

At the turn of 2008 the USGA ruled that all golf drivers could now be fitted with customised / interchangeable shafts. Alpha is one of the first golf club manufacturers to take advantage of this new ruling – creating the Alpha C830.4 plasma driver – 100% legal for competition.

Golf clubs from Alpha have always been popular with the hard-hitting golfer, since the ruling this particular driver has made the occasional appearance on tours including the Champions Tour that saw 3 of the top ten finishers using this driver.

The ‘M-Fit’ interchangeable technology is supplied with three shafts of varying flex on the C830.4 driver. All shafts are manufactured from titanium (lightweight) that is fitted permanently to the tip of the shaft. The shaft is then fitted into the head and secured by a titanium screw.

The golf club manufacturer believes that its patented technology allows the golfer to reconfigure their clubs in less than two minutes. The Alpha driver will retail in the UK for approximately £250rrp.
